Basic income is being looked at many places around the world, from Switzerland to Brazil to Alaska, as a way to eliminate poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A basic income is an investment in people. It is designed to guarantee that every woman, man, and child will have an income that supports their dignity, their health, their well-being, and their freedom to participate fully in their society. These are the basic human rights of every person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic income is not another hand-out model. It is a re-envisioning of how we share our resources so that every person has enough to live on. Basic income does not make people rich: it does as it implies \u2013 it covers the basics. Those who can and desire to can top this up by personal income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-fl-body-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-fl-body-text-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Un <strong>revenu de base garanti<\/strong> \u2013 parfois appel\u00e9 revenu annuel garanti ou revenu de subsistance garanti \u2013 assure que chaque Insulaire re\u00e7oive un revenu assez \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour subvenir \u00e0 ses besoins essentiels. La Suisse, le Br\u00e9sil et l\u2019Alaska ne sont que quelques pays qui envisagent cette strat\u00e9gie de lutte contre la pauvret\u00e9. La garantie d\u2019un revenu de base \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 un investissement dans la population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet investissement assure que chaque femme, homme et enfant ait acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un revenu qui appuie sa dignit\u00e9, sa sant\u00e9, son mieux-\u00eatre et sa libert\u00e9 de participer pleinement \u00e0 la vie sociale. Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 des droits fondamentaux de la personne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le revenu de base ne constitue pas un autre mod\u00e8le de charit\u00e9. Il nous permet plut\u00f4t d\u2019envisager une meilleure r\u00e9partition des ressources pour que chaque personne re\u00e7oive un revenu suffisant. Le revenu de base ne vise pas \u00e0 enrichir les gens qui le per\u00e7oivent; il ne fait que couvrir les besoins essentiels.
